Parallelization of lattice Boltzmann method for CFD using message passing interface

چکیده

The lattice Boltzmann method has become a promising numerical technique and is now being considered as an alternative to the conventional CFD methods owing possibility simulate more complex geometries at relatively low computational costs. simulations of very fine resolution domains in challenging due lack memory resources long processing times, therefore parallel computing way cope with this ever increasing mission power. In work parallelization 2-D model based code using message passing interface was performed increase speedup factor for computing. Lattice approach benchmark Lid driven cavity flow problem parallelized different subroutines made run on cluster system processors. time speed up execution investigated. results showed that these communications have little influence performance method.
